On ”Non-Geometric” Contribution To The Entropy Of Black Hole Due To Quantum Corrections

چکیده

The quantum corrections to the entropy of charged black holes are calculated. The Reissner-Nordstrem and dilaton black holes are considered. The appearance of logarithmically divergent terms not proportional to the horizon area is demonstrated. It is shown that the complete entropy which is sum of classical BekensteinHawking entropy and the quantum correction is proportional to the area of quantumcorrected horizon. The phase transition of corrected black hole with f(R) gravity

In this letter, we consider static black hole in f(R) gravity. We take advantage from corrected entropy and temperature and investigate such black hole. Finally, we study the $ P - V $ critically and phase transition of corrected black hole with respect to entropy and temperature. Here also, we obtain the heat capacity for the static black hole in $ f(R) $ gravity. This calculation help us...

Electromagnetic fields in Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström geometry. Quantum corrections to the black hole entropy

In the last decade, many efforts have been made in order to understand the deep origin of the black hole entropy [1–4] first introduced by Bekenstein [5–7] (for a recent review see Ref. [8]), but widely embraced only after the Hawinkg’s demonstration of black hole thermal radiation [9–11]. Some possible interpretations and methods of calculation have been proposed, but, at the moment, no one of...

Renormalization of Black Hole Entropy and of the Gravitational Coupling Constant

The quantum corrections to black hole entropy, variously defined, suffer quadratic divergences reminiscent of the ones found in the renormalization of the gravitational coupling constant (Newton constant). We consider the suggestion, due to Susskind and Uglum, that these divergences are proportional, and attempt to clarify its precise meaning. We argue that if the black hole entropy is identifi...

How Does a Fundamental String Stretch its Horizon?

It has recently been shown that if we take into account a class of higher derivative corrections to the effective action of heterotic string theory, the entropy of the black hole solution representing elementary string states correctly reproduces the statistical entropy computed from the degeneracy of elementary string states. So far the form of the solution has been analyzed at distance scales...

Quantum Corrections to Black Hole Entropy in String Theory

The one-loop contribution to the entropy of a black hole from field modes near the horizon is computed in string theory. It is modular invariant and ultraviolet finite. There is an infrared divergence that signifies an instability near the event horizon of the black hole. It is due to the exponential growth of the density of states and the associated Hagedorn transition characteristic of string...
